I'm having a technical problem (recommendations for all users)

We know it can be frustrating when something isn't working quite right, but the TwinklCares team are here to help!

Recommendations for all users -

If you encounter a difficulty on the site, we strongly recommend you first check the following:

  • You have the latest version of Adobe Reader installed. You can download the latest version of Adobe Reader here, (if you already have the latest version installed, it will tell you during the installation process). If you think you may be having trouble using Adobe Reader, you can also try Foxit reader, a similar program for viewing PDF files.
  • Ensure you have the latest version of your web browser. You can visit whatbrowser.org to find out which browser you are using and whether you have the latest version. If you don't have the latest version, you can use one of the following to update:
    • If you are using Internet Explorer – use Windows Update
    • If you are using Mozilla Firefox – use this guide
    • If you are using Google Chrome – use this guide
    • If you are using Apple Safari – use this guide
    • If you are using any other browser, we recommend that you install one of the above browsers to enjoy Twinkl fully.
  • We test our resources before making them available on the Twinkl website, however, not all computers are the same. This is especially true in school scenarios where your computers may be set up differently than at home.
  • If you are having difficulties using one of our resources on a school computer, talking with your school ICT technician is the best first action to take, especially if a resource works for you at home, but not at school.
  • If you or your ICT technician are still having difficulties, please do get in touch and we will do all we can to help! Please also send us your web browser details by visiting our Support Details page - it will help us to help you faster!
